Using the vertical space

The vertical space we speak of is the space between the floor and the ceiling. A better example of how you can use that space is by installing a mezzanine floor. Having this extra floor when you are in need of more space will be a godsend. You can use it however you need to, to be able to make the warehouse less full. When you no longer need the extra space, you can even take the mezzanine floor down for safekeeping until the next time you have that issue.

Remove anything unnecessary

As a business owner, you should know which items in the business are not doing well. It is important that those items aren’t taking a lot more space than necessary in the warehouse, because they will be the slowest thing to leave the space. This will snowball into an accumulation of this product no one is buying when that space could be used for products that are actually a lot more popular. So always make sure the products that don’t do as well with your customers are taking up less space.
